Pirates
of the Caribbean After a long walk down, you arrive at the center of a damp cave, where pirates from the second half of the seventeenth century live. The attraction is filled with robots, a.o. two robots that have a coordinated fight. The number of details is large, even on the ceiling there are shadows that add humor. An attraction to do twice. This attraction was opened in August 1993. It is the Disney
parks first rollercoaster, and contains a small looping. After the opening an accident
occurred; 8 people were wounded (but not severely). The attraction was closed temporarily
and was re-opened in November. George Lucas was there. Because of the limited capacity it
is a slow moving waiting area, but if you're not used to rollercoasters you can test
yourself, because Space Mountain is much heavier.
